I’m a curious sort of person. The kind of person who can happily spend an evening arguing with a font choice, a weekend trying to perfect a sauce that nobody asked for but everyone ends up enjoying, and several years “just getting around to” finishing a project I started in 2014. I make things, websites, graphics, games, the occasional ill-advised kitchen experiment, and I’m rarely content to leave something untouched for long, even if, thanks to the ADHD, some things never actually get finished at all.
I like my hobbies the way I like my bookshelves…slightly overcrowded, with a mix of old favourites and new distractions. I read widely, I cook ambitiously, and I’ve been known to design entire worlds just so I can populate them with questionable characters. If I’m not creating something, I’m usually learning something, even if it’s just figuring out why the thing I just made doesn’t work the way I thought it would.
I try to be the kind of person who’s dependable, resourceful, and able to laugh at myself when things inevitably go sideways. Life’s too short not to find the humour in the bits that don’t quite go to plan.
So that’s me: equal parts creativity, problem-solving, and making sure there’s a decent meal at the end of the day.
